Ceol na Mara
Secluded holiday cottage in the Outer Hebrides
Exposed stone walling gives you a real sense of the people who built Ceol Na Mara. Combined with a fire in the log burner, this room is the perfect setting for you to share great food, good conversation and maybe even a couple of drams!
Our french doors open onto decking offering superb views of the ever changing Hushinish beach and giving beautiful views across white sands of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighbouring islands of Taransay and Scarp. You can reflect on your day’s adventures in front of a roaring fire in the beautifully restored Victorian fireplace.
Prepare your meals in our fully equipped kitchen while watching ‘Bobby’ the seal playing in the waves.
Fitted with a double bed, this is a spacious room with more fantastic views of the surrounding machair and the Isle of Harris.
Across the hall is the second double bedroom which again faces the sea offering views of the ocean.
'Callum’s room' – Dedicated to the carpenter who spent many weeks renovating Ceol Na Mara, this cosy room has a small double bed and a ‘chalet style’ ensuite bathroom.
There is also a family bathroom downstairs with a bath tub with shower over.
